DV Voice
CTAP Region 11 Los Angeles County
What is DV Voice?

The DV Voice project empowered students to share their voice and perspective with America and the world. The Instructional Technology Outreach division at the Los Angeles County Office of Education provided a complete set of curriculum, professional development, and resources for teachers to effectively integrate technology into teaching and learning.
Throughout the project, participating teachers integrated technology tools and digital content into their teaching practice. Participating students accessed their curriculum in new ways and expressed what they learned through digital media. Students incorporated narrative writing with digital photography, enhanced audio narratives, and digital video production to explore their communities. This research, writing, and digital media project is aligned with California Content Standards in English-Language Arts and History-Social Science.
