At the core of this project are the DV Voice teachers. These dedicated professionals began by participating in a five-day Digital Media workshop. They learned about digital media production, digital tools and online resources. Participating schools received a "toolkit" which included a laptop computer with editing software, five DV cameras, Digital audio devices, multimedia projector, and other production equipment. |

Ultimately, it is the DV voice students that are truly responsible for the success of this project. These students incorporated narrative writing with digital photography, podcasting, ad digital video production to explore their communities. The impact this project has had on their learning will be used to advocate for increased funding for education technology. |
