The Government Entity Microsoft Settlement This settlement funding program is separate from the Ed Tech K-12 Voucher program. In this new settlement, all government agencies (including all school districts and charters regardless of FRPL percentages) are automatically eligible. Presentation on Updates: February Voucher Update

http://www.edtechk12vp.com displays initial school allocations for districts with approved applications. This Balance statement shows names, numbers, and initial funding amount of funded schools in a district.

Tech SETS k-12 Voucher Tracking tool keeps track of expenditures and allows you to complete the data that will be required for reimbursements.

On July 26, 2006, State Superintendent of Public Instruction Jack O'Connell announced that $400-600 million will soon be available for California schools to purchase computer hardware and software. The technology funds, which will be distributed to schools through the California Department of Educations Education Technology K-12 Voucher Program, are available as a result of a legal settlement agreement. Eligible schools are those with greater than 40% of their students participating in the free and reduced price lunch program.

An online application was released on September 18, 2006. The per pupil dollar amount for eligible schools is expected to be between $98 - $150. Currently, the posted amount is $50.80 but will be recalculated.
