Tech Academies

CTAP Region 11 Los Angeles County

CTAP Technology Academies are five-day trainings, designed for K-12 public school educators that need educational technology professional development at their level of proficiency. The objective of Technology Academies is to ensure that classroom educators have the requisite skills, knowledge, and ability to effectively integrate technology into the curriculum.

CTAP Technology Academies are organized into 2 levels of proficiency. Take or review your Technology Assessment Profile at www.edtechprofile.org to see which academy is right for you.

  • Level I: Technology Proficiency Academy
    • The Technology Proficiency Academy provides instruction in the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve personal proficiency in using technology, with a focus on the integration of technology to increase teacher performance and productivity.
  • Level II: Technology Integration Academy
    • The Technology Integration Academy assists teachers who are ready to move beyond basic proficiency skills and focus on the effective integration of technology into the curriculum to increase student achievement.
