Enhancing Education through Technology ARRA Competitive Grant RFA.
As part of the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act of 2009 (ARRA), the California Department of Education has released the Enhancing Education through Technology ARRA Competitive Grant RFA. The CDE posted the RFA on September 11, 2009; applications are due on Thursday, October 15, 2009. Grant money will be available to eligible Los Angeles County schools through this funding source. The EETT ARRA Competitive program provides $300 per student in grades 4-8 at funded schools. Districts submit a proposal that utilizes technology to improve student achievement.
Unlike previous rounds, schools that have received an Enhancing Education Through Technology (EETT) Competitive grant award in prior years may be eligible for this one-time ARRA funding program.
Grant information and a list of eligible schools is posted on the CDE AARRA Title II, Part D, Enhancing Education Through Technology (Competitive) page. Make sure to use the latest forms and guidelines when submitting an application.
